Brook-Lea Country Club first opened for play in 1929. The course was designed by Donald Ross.

The Brook-Lea Country Club golf course is a traditional course with excellent greens. The course is mostly hilly, but there are some level lies to be found in the center of the fairways. Water hazards (two ponds and a creek) come into play on seven holes. The greens are elevated and two are double-tiered. There are many fairway sand bunkers and greenside bunkers spread throughout the entire course.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,838 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,858 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 541 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 432 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Brook-Lea Country Club is # 12, a 153 yard par-3. The signature hole is #18, a 171-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a well-bunkered green that is right next to the clubhouse.
